We are a local agency with extensive knowledge and experience. As such, we have the connections and inside scoop on the sites, hotels, and guides that will provide you with the best experience. Our staff will guide you through choosing the right itinerary for you, and is available anytime you need. We have the right combination of professionalism and warmth to ensure your needs are met before, during and after your trip. Who are the staff at Noah Tours?

Our staff are multilingual Israel experts with lots of experience in customer service. Once you send us an email, fill out a contact form, or call us, we will set you up with your own personal contact from the staff that will attend to your needs. They will set up a tour according your dates, within your budget, and visiting the sites you want to see. If you want to tour in a language other than English, we can do that too! Our staff speaks English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, French and more.

 

Which countries can I go to with Noah Tours?

We offer tours in Israel, Jordan and Egypt.

 

I don’t speak English or Hebrew. Will the staff at Noah Tours be able to understand me?

At Noah Tours, we have staff members fluent in Spanish, Russian, French, Portuguese, Italian, and even Japanese!

 

Where is your office located?

Our offices are located in Israel. Our headquarters are in a city just outside of Jerusalem, called Neve Ilan. 

 

What are the different levels of accommodation?

Since there is no “star system” in Israel to rate hotels, we use the terms tourist class, first class, superior class, and deluxe class.

  1. Deluxe class hotels are the most luxurious, considered 5 stars. They have beautifully decorated facilities, the most amenities (e.g. a pool), and are always in the best locations. The breakfast at the hotel is always a buffet style in Israel, but the deluxe class is a cut above the rest with the most variety and highest quality foods.
  2. Superior class is the second highest option. A little more budget-friendly, it still offers a wide range of amenities. 
  3. First class hotels are in a good location, though the rooms may be smaller and/or the hotel will have more limited amenities in order to keep rates competitive.
  4. Tourist class would be considered about 3 stars- private bathroom, a small but clean room, and limited extras. Tourist class rates allow even the most budget-conscientious person to book a trip to Israel in comfort.

All of our hotels are handpicked as the most value for your money, with the best customer service and the best possible locations. If you have a specific hotel you would like to stay at, please tell your personal customer service agent at Noah Tours and we will be happy to accommodate you.

 

I want to book! What do I do?

There are 5 easy steps:

  1. Itinerary: Which location(s) do you want to see?
  2. Dates: When can you travel and for how long?
  3. Contact Us: Let us know the answers to 1 and 2 and we can let you know which tours suit your needs.
  4. Confirm an Itinerary and Dates: Which tour will you be booking and when?
  5. Payment: We will send you an authorization form if you are paying via credit card (we take Visa, MasterCard, and American Express with a small credit card fee) or you may pay via an international bank transfer.

We will send you a receipt, your tour document (up to 1 week prior to arrival) and any other relevant information you will need.

 

I’ve emailed SALES@NOAHTOURS.COM. When can I expect a response?

You can expect a response no later then one business day but very often we respond on the same day. Please note that in Israel the weekend is over Friday and Saturday, so if you email on Friday you can expect a response on Sunday.

 

Do you include international flights in your quote offers?

As we wish for you to have flexibility in choosing your own airline, layovers, and hours, we do not assist with flights. However, when there are domestic/regional flights within the itinerary we may include them in the quote. They will be listed in the “Rates Including” section of your offer if this is relevant to your tour. When in doubt, please ask your personal contact at Noah Tours.

 

What are the different types of tours you offer?

We offer private tours, group tours and the option to join an existing group tour.

  1. Private Tours- A day tour, a week or even longer, we can tailor the tour to suit your needs and desires.
  2. Forming Your Own Group- A group is a minimum of 15 full paying clients (not including babies). At 20 full paying clients, hotels begin giving a group rate and usually include a free bed (half a double room free of charge). This is great for larger groups and we pass this discount on to you.
  3. Joining a Group Tour- We have tours running all year round (excluding the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur). These tours begin on Sundays, and whether you are an individual or a small group, you are welcome to join these tours that have a pre-set itinerary.
  4. Day Tours – This option is great for people on a budget or those who want to do some exploring on their own.

 

Are there any meals included?

Generally, breakfasts are included for tours lasting more than a day (called BB basis for board and breakfast). If you would like dinners included we offer HB basis (half board), which includes select dinners.

 

Do you help with visa applications?

We can assist with visa applications for Jordan and Egypt, but not Israel. If your nationality requires you to procure a visa for Israel, we suggest booking far in advance as we have seen it take over a month for a local Israeli Embassy to respond, and unfortunately, these delayed responses are often rejections.

 

Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes, we definitely offer travel insurance for Israel, Jordan and Egypt and in fact we strongly recommend it. While not included in our base prices, your personal contact at Noah Tours will be happy to assist with including insurance.

 

Is tipping included?

Tipping is not included in our quote. It is given in cash to your guide/driver at the end of your time with them. There is no minimum or maximum for tipping, but in the itinerary we email to you there is a suggested amount.

 

I’m here! Who do I speak to if I have a problem?

In your tour document (sent approximately 1 week prior to your arrival), you will receive the emergency numbers of our staff in the relevant locations. 

 

What is the best time of year to visit Israel?

The best time to travel to Israel is anytime! The weather varies throughout the year but is generally gorgeous. There is almost no chance of rain from May – September. July and August are the hottest months of the year with temperatures reaching 100 degrees or higher, and with high humidity in many parts of the country. It is the perfect time of year for you beach lovers or water enthusiasts. Winter in Israel can be chilly with temperatures going as low as 40 degrees, but in most areas quite temperate. This is a great time of year for people who are on a budget as this considered the low season in Israel. Late Winter and early Spring bring the bloom of many flowers and pleasant weather.

 

Is it safe to travel to Israel?

Yes, it is safe to travel to Israel. The reality of what goes on in Israel is very different from the portrayal in the media. There are trained professionals on public transportation, in many buildings, at tourist sites and even walking around the streets to keep you safe. Noah Tours will NEVER compromise your safety by taking you to a high risk area.
