Day 1. Arrival - Tel Aviv
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport and welcome by a representative of Noah Tours. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 2. Jerusalem
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start with a magnificent view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives with its many churches. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension. Proceed to the Church of Pater Noster, where Jesus taught the Lord's Prayer. We will see the church of Dominus Flevit. We will follow the path of Palm Sunday. Arrival at the Lions' Gate, entrance to the old city of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Santa Ana and the Pool of Bethesda, a place where Jesus healed the paralytic. We will see the Arch of Ecce Homo and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion, where Jesus was mocked and scourged. Continue on Via Dolorosa. We will celebrate Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will leave the Jaffa Gate to go to the hotel. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 3. Jerusalem
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Temple Mount, the Wailing Wall, the Davidson Archeological Park. Continue through the modern parts of Jerusalem with the Israel Museum and overview of the Parliament. Visit the village of Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist and where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. Mass at the Church of the Visitation. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 4. Jerusalem - Bethlehem
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Dormition Abbey, Benedictine church commemorating the Assumption of Mary, Mother of Christ. Visit the hall of the Last Supper (Cenacle). This is a great place to meet in reading. Visit the church of St. Peter in Gallicant, home of the high priest Caiaphas. In the afternoon, Shepherds' Field and overview of Bethlehem. Continue with the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus. Also visit the Milk Grotto, where tradition says Mary nursed Jesus. Transfer to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5. Dead Sea - Masada - Qumran
Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave Jerusalem to go to Masada in the Judean Desert. The guide will take you to explore this fascinating place with fascinating views of the Dead Sea. Masada is the last bastion of Jewish resistance against the conquering Romans. We will continue to Qumran, where the ancient Dead Sea scrolls were written 2000 years ago. We will do an overview of the world's oldest city, Jericho. Continue to visit the Mount of Temptation. We will see a tree over 2,000 years, which was a sycamore tree climbed by Zacchaeus in order to see Jesus. Overnight in Tiberias.
Day 6. Galilee - Tabgha
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes in Tabgha, where Jesus fed 5,000 people. Then we will move to the town of Capernaum. Here we find the house of St. Peter and then the place where he stopped to preach in the local synagogue. We will celebrate the outdoor Mass on the Mount of Beatitudes, top view of the Sea of Galilee. Stop at the Jordan River, where we will visit the place of baptism of Yardenit. Overnight in Tiberias.
Day 7. Nazareth - Cana
Breakfast at the hotel. Ascent of Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration, where they enjoy the ride to the top of the mountain and its beautiful landscape. Next, a Visit to Cana of Galilee and Nazareth, a town of Jesus' youth. Mass at the Church of the Annunciation. Overnight in Tiberias.
Day 8. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
