Follow in the footsteps of the Jewish Nation and explore the historical and beautiful sites of Israel with an adventurous 12 Days Tour. The perfect tour for families!

Day 1 Sunday. Arrival

Arrival to Tel Aviv International Airport. A Noah Tours representative will meet you after passport control and accompany you to your transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Monday. Caesarea - Haifa - Acre - Rosh Hanikra

Drive North to Caesarea, what once was the Roman capital of the region. See the excavations of the Crusaders' City, the aqueduct and amphitheater that has been restored as a concert venue. Proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view from Mount Carmel and. Drive to Acre; walk along the old harbor and local market. Continue to the northernmost point of Israel, Rosh Hanikra. Descend by cable car into the limestone grottoes. Overnight in a Kibbutz Hotel.

Day 3 Tuesday. Safed - Tel Hai - Banias - ATV Tour in Golan Heights 

Drive to Safed, center of the Kabballah movement; visit the Joseph Caro and Ha’Ari synagogues, the most important synagogues in the city and stroll through the Artist’s Quarter. After that, proceed to an exciting ATV tour in the beautiful Golan Heights. From there, ascend Mt. Bental, a captivating dormant volcano and hear some geopolitical insight on the region. Stop at an observation point over the city of Kuneitra and the Syrian territory. Next, walk along the alluring Banias Springs and watch the splendid waterfalls. End the day with an overnight in the Kibbutz Hotel.  

Day 4 Wednesday. Jordan Valley - Beit Shean – Bet Alpha - Gan Hashlosha - Jerusalem

Start the morning with a drive to the Jordan Valley and get inspired by the view; proceed to Beit Shean, the biggest archeological park in Israel with beautiful excavations from the Roman and Byzantine periods. Stop at Beit Alpha to see the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue from the Byzantine period. Onto Gan Hashlosha, (Sachne) where you will have an opportunity to enjoy the water springs located at the foot of the Gilboa mountain, the famous mountain on which King Saul was killed in the battle against the Philistines. Continue via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5 Thursday. Jerusalem (Old City) - Mt. Olives - Western Wall - Sephardic Synagogues - Westerm Wall Tunnels - Davidson Center

At the start of the morning, drive to the crest of the Mt. of Olives where you will get a magnificent view of the entire city of Jerusalem. Visit at the Western Wall for some time to pray and/or reflect. Walk along the Cardo, the ancient Roman road; visit the four Sephardic synagogues restored after the 1967 war in the Jewish quarter. Tour through the Western Wall Tunnels; visit Davidson center and walk through the Roman Cardo to the local Arab bazaar. Walk through Jaffa Gate to the Tower of David Museum and see the ancient remains of the city beginning with the first Temple period. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6 Friday. Jerusalem (New City) - Mt. Herzl- Yad Vashem Museum - Israel Museum - Mahane Yehuda Market

Start the day with a drive to Mount Herzl, the military cemetery, and visit the Yad VaShem Museum, the national memorial to the Holocaust. Pass by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament and see the Menorah with the biblical emblems. Next, visit the Israel Museum and see the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed and the new Holyland model – a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period. Continue your day with a visit to Mahane Yehuda Marketplace (Shuk) and experience life as an Israeli. From there if time allows, pass by Mea Shearim and get a glimpse of the unique lifestyle of the ultra-orthodox community. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 Saturday. Jerusalem Free Day 

Enjoy the your free day of Sabbath to rest in the hotel or explore the beautiful city with its beautiful colours and lights. Walk to the Great Synagogue or the Western Wall for prayer. Optional visit at King David's Museum with free vouchers. At night, you will have an option to visit the Night Specatcle of David's Tower.

Day 8 Sunday.  Jerusalem - Eilat - Arava - pass by Aqaba -  Petra 

Fly from Tel Aviv Airport to Eilat. and transfer to the Arava border. After border crossing procedures enter Jordan, drive to Petra, through the scenic Jordanian desert, past the Wadi Rum area, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought with the Bedouin. Enter the Red City of Petra through the Siq, by horse or by foot (optimal carriage) This is a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired people for centuries. Suddenly the impressive Treasury wonder appears at the end of the gorge, leaving the visitors breath-taken by it's size, color and beauty. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular Amphitheatre. Stop for a traditional lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring.  Overnight in Petra

Day 9 Monday. Petra – Amman - Cairo

After breakfast free time in Petra. After lunch tranfer to Amman international Airport for your flight to Cairio. Arrival to Cario our representatives will meet and assist you withyour luggages. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 10 Tuesday. Cairo - Memphis - Sakkara - Giza Great Pyramids

We begin our day with a tour of the ancient city of Memphis that lies some 12 miles south of Cairo. The ancient city is now an open air museum testifying to the magnificence of its four thousand years history. Serving Memphis lies the necropolis Saqqara a vast, ancient burial ground, featuring numerous pyramids, including the world famous Step pyramid of Djoser. We then proceed to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx located on the Giza Plateau. The Great Pyramids of Cheops or Khufu; of Khafre or Chephren; and of Menkaure have always loomed large as emblems of ancient Egypt and were listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Valley Temples surrounding the pyramids provide an insight to dominating religious motives of the era. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 11 Wednesday. Full day city tour of Cairo

Start the Cairo city tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum, with its fantastic display of ancient civilization; the Mosque of Mohammad Ali's Citadel; the old city; the Ben Ezra – Geniza Synagogue. Its store room – Geniza – was found to contain over 2000 medieval, manuscripts, a collection known as the Cairo Geniza. The El Mullakah Church (Hanging Church) one of the oldest and most famous Coptic Churches in Egypt. Continue to the City of the Dead a four mile long grid of tombs and mausoleums where people live and work amongst their dead and ancestors. Many residents live here because they were forced from more crowded areas in Cairo or emigrated from countryside. End at Bazaar of Kahn Khalili. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 12 Thursday. Breakfast and departure

Have breakfast, and then transfer to the airport for departure.

OPTIONAL TOURS:

  • Day Tour to Alexandria from Cario. You will be visiting the Catacomb, PomPei’s Pillar, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the garden. Drive back to Cairo through the desert road. From USD$ 190 per person including 1 additional overnight (First Class). This will make the tour a 13-day tour.

  • Day Tour to Luxor including 2 flights from/toCairo. From USD$ 395 per person. Not including an overnight in Cairo (please contact us for rates). This will make the tour a 13-day tour.

The above rates are for a minimum of 2 people. In case of a single traveller, a supplement must be paid. Please contact us for details and rates.

Important Notes

  • Tour starts on Sunday from Tel Aviv and ends the next Thursday in Cairo

  • The tour departs Sundays with transfer from airport to hotel with a minimum of 4 people joining. Please contact us for the supplement fee if you will be less than 4 people in your group.

  • All rooms are standard rooms unless mentioned otherwise, except for Executive. Optional room upgrades are available upon request for a supplement fee.
  • Executive Class receive a room in the Hilton Deluxe, Scots Deluxe, Mövenpick Resort Petra Junior Suite and in the King David New City (floor 1-4) Hotel .
  • All categories of hotel class stay in the same Kibbutz Hotel in the Galilee no matter which hotel class was booked, except Executive.
  • Option for Superior and Deluxe class to upgrade to a non-Kibbutz Hotel for a supplement fee.

  • In case the hotels mentioned in the table are not available, a similar hotel from the same category will be booked.

  • The tour may start on Wednesday from Cairo with similar itinerary.

  • During August, the tour Deluxe category is upon availability only in Israel.

  • During High Season & Peak Season, please contact us for rates and availability.

  • There are a few options for extension tours in Egypt.

  • In case of non availability of a Kibbutz Hotel, a hotel in the Galilee will be designated.

  • In order to pre-issue visas to Jordan and Egypt, we require a scanned copy of the all clients' passports.
