Day 1. Arrival

Arrive in Israel. Meet a Noah Tours representative, who will assist you through customs. On the way to Jerusalem, if time permits, stop to visit The Scrolls of Fire. Ascend to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Jerusalem Old City

At the start of the morning, drive to the crest of Mt. of Olives, where the entire city of Jerusalem unfolds before you. Visit the Kotel for a prayer. Explore the Southern Wall Excavations and take a virtual, computerized “walk” through the ancient Temple Mount at the Davidson Center in the Western Wall Tunnel, walk alongside the Western Wall’s massive foundation stones. Travel through time at the lively Jerusalem Time Elevator multi-media production for a colorful overview of Jerusalem history. Open schedule evening in Jerusalem.

Day 3. Bar Bat Mitzva Celebration - Mt. Zion

In the morning, celebrate your BarBat Mitzvah at the Kotel (Western Wall). In the afternoon, visit Mt. Zion and King David's Tomb. Explore the wonderful fortress that houses the Jerusalem Museum at the Tower of David in order to learn about the history of Jerusalem throughout the ages. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 4. Those Who Made a Difference

Take in a truly special multi-media presentation about the life of the Father of Modern Zionism at the new Herzl Exhibit (only if available). At the Har Herzl Military Cemetery, honor the memory of Israel’s fallen heroes, who have given their lives to establish a secure Jewish homeland. We will visit the resting places of Theodore Herzl, Golda Meir, and Yitzhak Rabin. Visit the unforgettable Memorial Museum and Children’s Memorial at Yad Vashem. Walkthrough the haunting Valley of the Communities and participate in a moving “Yizkor” service. Enjoy exploring the bustling Machaneh Yehuda open-air market. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5. Caesarea-Haifa-Acre-Rosh Hanikra

Drive north to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region. See the excavations of the crusaders' city, the aqueduct, and the amphitheater which has been restored as a concert venue. Proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view from Mount Carmel and visit “AF AL PI CHEN”, the naval museum of the illegal immigration to Israel at the time of the British mandate. Drive to Acre; walk along the old harbor and local market. Continue to the northernmost point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra. Descend by cable car into the limestone grottoes. Dinner and overnight in the Kibbutz Hotel.

Day 6. Safed-Golan Heights-Jordan River

Tour the synagogues, courtyards, and shops of the mystical city of Safed. Gain a deeper understanding of the Golan Heights. Hear the story of the most expansive land battle in the world, which took place here during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Take an exciting jeep ride through the Golan off the beaten track. Enjoy gliding down the Jordan River in a kayak. Dinner and overnight in the Kibbutz Hotel.

Day 7. Mt. Tabor-Jordan Valley-Qumran-Masada-Dead Sea

After breakfast, visit Mt. Tabor and enjoy an overview of western Galilee. Driving through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea area. Stop at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to Masada, ascend by cable car, and tour the ancient fortress; visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, bathhouses, etc. Descend by cable car. Enjoy Floating in the salty water at the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

Day 8. Negev-Timna Park-Eilat

After breakfast, drive to Sde Boker, have a Kibbutz tour, learn about the retirement home of Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion. Enjoy a Jeep Tour from Sde Boker to Ein Akev. Visit Ein Avdat National Park. Continue to Eilat, optional camel ride at the Camel Ranch in Nachal Shlomo. Dinner and overnight in Eilat.

Day 9. Eilat-Tel Aviv

Morning at leisure to sample the delights of Eilat, including water-skiing, paddle boats, windsurfing, banana boats, or even a swim with the dolphins (extra charges may apply for some of these activities). In the afternoon, check out of the hotel for the flight to Tel Aviv. Depart for Ben Gurion Airport for your international flight back home.
