Evangelical Tour with the Birthplace of Jesus – 8 Days

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Meeting with Noah Tours representative and transfer to the hotel in Tel Aviv.

Visit Caesarea, once a proud Roman port city dating back to the time of Pontius Pilate. View the monumental Roman amphitheater built in the days of Jesus. Visit Nazareth Village and see demonstrations of what life was like in Jesus‘ time and eat a traditional meal. Continue on to Mount Tabor, the site of Transfiguration. From the rooftop of the church we can enjoy a beautiful view of the Lower Galilee and the Plain of Jezreel. Stop at the Jordan River with opportunity to be baptized. Overnight at the Sea of Galilee.

Visit Tabgha to visit the Church of the Loaves and Fish. Continue on to Capernaum, the town of Jesus – where he lived in the house of Peter performing from there his miracles and healings. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked on the water. The ride will end at Ginnosar, where we shall visit the Ancient Boat from the time of Jesus that was found nearby. Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Visit Mt. Bental with a grand view of the area. Go to Banyas, the ancient Caesarea Philippi- one of the main sources of the Jordan River and where Peter first confessed that Jesus is the Messiah and Son of God. On to Tel Dan, the ancient capital city of the Dan tribe. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Take a drive along the Jordan Valley and the shores of the Dead Sea to the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from King Saul. Walking tour in the Nahal David till the waterfalls. Visit Qumran, the city of the Essen’s, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found in a cave by a shepherd. Visit the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, and have the opportunity to „dip“ and „float“ in the therapeutic water and treat yourself with the special mud. Overnight in Jerusalem.

After breakfast drive to the Mount of Olives to have a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem with the Temple Mount. Drive to the Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus was arrested, to see the ancient olive trees. See the Pool of Bethesda and walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Garden tomb. Visit the colorful bazaar reach the Jewish Quarter, visit the Cardo and the excavated Herodian Quarter. Walk to the Wailing Wall – the holiest place for the Jews – and drive to Mount Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King David. Return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast visit the Israel Museum with its Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are kept, see the Model of Jerusalem as it was at the time of the Second Temple. Visit to the picturesque village of Ein Karem, the birth place of John the Baptist. Continue on to Bethlehem – Church of the Nativity, Shephard’s field and the cave. Visit the Herodian. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure flight.
