Tag 1
Jerusalem
Arrive in Israel. Meet Noah Tours‘ representative who will assist through customs. On the way to Jerusalem… if time permits stop to visit The Scrolls of Fire. Ascend to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Mount of Olives - City of David - Old Jerusalem
Take in a beautiful view from Mount of Olives over the old city. Visit the City of David viewing the Biblical Jerusalem then head underground to some of the newest archaeological excavations at the site. The underground tour finally ends at the Gihon Spring, where we’ll take our flashlights out and wade through the spring in King Hezekiah’s 2,700 year old water tunnel, one of the wonders of early engineering. Afterwards, tour the quarters of the old city, enjoying the colorful variety of religions in this unique city. Finally, enter the Time Elevator, a 4D movie bringing to life Jerusalem’s most dramatic moments in history. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Yad Vashem - Ein Kerem - Knesset
Visit Yad Vashem the holocaust museum. Visit the Hadassah hospital to see Chagall’s windows at the synagogue. Continue to Ein Kerem, where St. John the Baptist was born and where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. Travel to the Knesset (Israel Parliament). Have some free time in Central Jerusalem for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Judean Desert - Ein Gedi - Spa
After breakfast we start our way to the desert. We’ll stop for a magnificent view over the Saint George monastery at Wadi Qelt. Stop at the Ein Gedi reserve, this beautiful oasis is a source of living for many animals, flora and humans. If the weather permits, we can get into the cool water. Enjoy Ein Gedi Spa with its thermo-mineral Sulphur water. Dinner and overnight in Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel or Dead Sea Hotel.

Qumran - Masada - Dead Sea
Drive to Qumran, where the ancient Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to Masada, where one of King Herod’s palaces is located and where the last battle of the Jewish Rebellions stood against the Roman army. Descend Masada and travel to the Dead Sea. Enjoy floating in the salty waters at the lowest place on earth. Then back to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Beit Guvrin - Battlefield of David & Goliath - Mini Israel
Visit Beit Guvrin National Park. Very early, people began to dig caves in the Beit Govrin area, which they used as quarries and burial grounds, storerooms and workshops, hiding places and spaces for raising doves. Visit Tel Goded and some ancient tunnels underground (flashlights is essential). Stop at the Biblical site of Tel Azeka for a view over the battle field of David and Goliath. Continue to Mini-Israel, a beautiful miniature version of the Land of Israel. Drive to Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Tel Aviv - Jaffa Port - Swimming in the Mediterranean
Visit the old port city of Jaffa where Jonah boarded a ship and where Peter saw a vision of a sheet coming down from heaven. Today Jaffa is known for art. Walk at Nahalat Benyamin street for shopping and a nice walk along one of Tel Aviv’s typical streets. Top of Azrieli tower to see the view, and if the weather is good we’ll go for a swim in the Mediterranean. Dinner & Overnight Tel Aviv

Caesarea - Haifa - Mount Carmel - Megiddo - Tiberias
Visit at the old city of Cesarea, a Roman city with Roman structures including an amphitheater, hippodrome, hot baths and more. Continue to Haifa, visit the Bahai gardens. Visit Mt. Carmel, where Elijah held a contest against the false prophets of Ba’al. Next, travel to Megiddo, overlooking the plains of Armageddon and visit the site of the 21 superimposed cities. Drive to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Beit She'arim - Mount Tabor
We’ll visit Beit She’arim National Park. The people of ancient Beit She’arim dug ornate catacombs, interconnected by tunnels, creating a huge underground necropolis – a city of the dead. The caves are full of stylized sarcophagi, decorated with Jewish and secular symbols. Visit Zipori National Park, a Roman city with beautiful mosaic floors. On to Mount Tabor to visit where the transfiguration of Jesus is believed to have taken place and enjoy the tremendous view. Back to hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Emek Harod - Mount Gilboa - Nazareth village - Mary's well
Visit at Tel Yzrael and a short walk to the spring of Yzrael where we’ll be able to walk in a water tunnel. We’ll hear the story of the confrontation between King Akhab and Prophet Elijah. From there we’ll continue to a lookout from Mount Gilboa over the Samaritan mountains. Drive to Nazareth, visit the Nazareth village, Mary’s well and the church synagogue. Back to hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Mt. of Beatitudes - Capernaum - Boat Ride on Sea of Galilee
After breakfast the first stop will be the Mt. of Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. Travel to Tabga, where 5000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves. Continue to Capernaum where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and hear how Jesus calmed the stormy sea and walked upon these waters. Enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch. Visit Kursi, the site where the swine ran into the Sea of Galilee and drowned. Dinner and overnight in the Sea of Galilee.

Kibbutz Tour - Golan View - Korazim - Tiberias
After breakfast begin the day with a tour of the Kibbutz and explore this unique way of life. From here ascend the Golan Heights. The guide will explain why this area is so vital to Israel’s security. Continue to Korazim, the city condemned by Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Kibbutz El Rom - Katzrin - Tel Aviv
Visit Kibutz El Rom where we’ll see a movie that describes one of the famous battles that took place not far from this kibutz at the six day war. Visit Mt. Bental volcano to see a great view over the Syrian border. Visit the Talmudic Park of Kazerin. The park encompasses a reconstruction of buildings from the Talmudic period village of Katzrin, including its magnificent synagogue. Two reconstructed houses contain tools from that period. In the park’s Sculpture Garden. Sixteen basalt sculptures are on display. Drive to Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.
