9 Day Egypt & Israel Tour
Giorno 1
Arrival Cairo - Egypt
We arrive at Cairo’s International Airport. Noah Tours representative will meet you upon arrival and transfer to your hotel in Cairo where you will be freshen up before dinner this evening. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.
Giorno 2
Cairo - Giza
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Coptic Christian area of Old Cairo. Continue to the Egyptian National Museum where you will see the treasures of the boy-king Tutankhamun. Travel to Giza where we visit the world famous Pyramids and the 5000 year-old Sphinx, still guarding this important region. We will also visit the El Khalil Bazaar for a unique shopping experience. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Giorno 3
Cairo - Mt. Sinai - St. Catherine
We depart Cairo this morning after breakfast, travelling through the tunnel under the world famous Suez Canal and drive to the foot of Mount Sinai. We will visit St. Catherine’s Monastery and the Chapel of the Burning Bush and reflect on Moses’ experiences at Sinai where he received the Ten Commandments. We will check into our hotel in the Santa Catherine area for dinner and overnight.
Giorno 4
Mt. Sinai - Eilat - Israel - Dead Sea Area
Early morning departure from the Sinai area crossing into Eilat, Israel. Travel north to Masada, visit Herod’s desert fortress and the site of one of the most dramatic chapters in Jewish history. View the Ein Gedi oasis, mentioned in the Bible where King David fled from King Saul, stopping to enjoy floating in the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. Continue to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Dinner and overnight in the Dead Sea Area.
Giorno 5
Tiberias - Sea of Galilee
In the morning we will drive to Tiberias and enjoy a Boat Cruise on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Mt. of Beatitudes. Visit Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee and Tabgha, location of the Miracle of Feeding the 5,000. We will have an optional baptismal service in the Jordan River at Yardenit. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Giorno 6
Galilee - Caesarea - Jerusalem
We leave Tiberias and visit Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation and Joseph’s carpenter shop. Proceed to Megiddo, King Solomon’s fortress city and the prophetic site of Armageddon. Drive to Caesarea by-the-Sea, where Cornelius, the Roman centurion, was the first Gentile to be converted to Christianity and see the Roman ruins of the city. Continue up to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Giorno 7
Jerusalem
Early morning drive to the Mount of Olives, viewing Jerusalem as Jesus would have seen it. Visit the nearby Garden of Gethsemane, with its ancient olive trees. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Lions’ Gate, visiting the Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the lame man. Continue to Pontius Pilate’s Hall of Judgment, the place of the trial of Jesus. Our walking tour in the Old City will follow the Via Dolorosa to Church of Holy Sepulchre and on through the shopping area to the Jaffa Gate. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
Giorno 8
Bethlehem - Jerusalem
After breakfast drive to Bethlehem, viewing the Shepherds’ Fields on the way, to visit the Church of the Nativity, built over the Grotto where Jesus was born. Return to the Old City of Jerusalem to visit the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) and Temple Mount, viewing the Dome of the Rock, where Solomon’s Temple once stood. Continue through the Jewish Quarter to Mount Zion, to visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb. Visit the Church of Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of Caiaphas the High Priest. Then on to Calvary and Communion at the Garden Tomb. We will have a Farewell Dinner tonight and get some rest before leaving for the airport. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Departure
Depart Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, on your flight home.
