In the Footsteps of John the Baptist
The Journey
Qumran • Qasr el Yahud • Dead Sea
This day follows a single thread through the Judean Desert. Qumran’s caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and John the Baptist may have had ties to the community there, then Qasr el Yahud on the Jordan River, one of the most traditional baptismal sites. The day ends at the Dead Sea, time enough to swim, float, or visit the spa. One guide, one itinerary, built around how long you want at each stop. Stay by the water as long as you like, then move on when you’re ready. It’s your day, wherever it takes you.
