The day moves through Safed’s Old City, one of Judaism’s Four Holy Cities and the birthplace of Kabbalah, past the Joseph Caro and Ha’Ari synagogues and the Artists’ Quarter, then to Tel Hai’s memorial near the Lebanese border. An ATV run through the Golan Heights leads up to Mt. Bental, a dormant volcano with a view over Kuneitra and the Syrian border, before ending at Banias’ waterfalls.
