Day 1
Arrival - Tel Aviv
Meet at the airport by Noah Tour representatives and guides and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure for rest. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tel Aviv.
Day 2
Tel Aviv - Haifa - Nazareth - Cana - Tiberias
Travel up the coastline to the ancient Roman City of Caesarea, view Mt Carmel. Proceed to Nazareth, to see Mary’s Well. (Nazareth’s village optional) See Mt Tabor, the place of Transfiguration. Overnight at hotel in Tiberias.
Day 3
Tiberias - Tabgha - Capernaum - Caesarea Philippi
Head north through the Hula Valley to Banias, ancient Caesarea Philippi at the foot of Mt Hermon. Return to the Sea of Galilee and visit the “Jesus boat” dated back to the first century AD, Tabgha (where Jesus fed the five thousand), and Mount of Beatitudes (where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount). Arrive in Capernaum. Overnight at hotel in Tiberias.
Day 4
Tiberias – Beth Shean -Amman
Visit the ancient city of Beth Shean, view the archeological site. Continue to the border cross to Jordan. Visit the biblical Mt. Nebo from which Moses viewed the Promise Land. Continue to the city Madaba, best known for its Byzantine mosaics and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Overnight in Amman.
Day 5
Petra
See the Nabatean Treasure City of Petra. One day to explore one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites – the 2,000-year old city of Petra, known as the red rock city. At the entrance to Petra travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m – from the visitors centre to the entrance of the dramatic “Siq” (canyon) which is about 1.2 km long (walking distance). Overnight in Petra.
Day 6
Petra - Aqaba - Mt Sinai
Departure towards the Red Sea, to the port city of Aqaba, an ancient city nowadays a modern seaside resort. Embark on a ferry towards Nuweiba in Egypt, crossing the Red Sea. Continue the trip to the Mt Sinai area. Overnight at hotel in Mt Sinai.
Day 7
Mt Sinai - St Caterine- Eilat
Very early this morning climb Mount Sinai and see where the Moses received the Ten Commandments. Enjoy incredible views of the Sinai wilderness in the sunrise. Descending the mountain, continue with a visit to the famous art-filled Byzantine Monastery of St Catherine, built in the sixth century. Leaving Mt. Sinai area departure toward the eastern shores of Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea north to Taba Border (Egypt Israel crossing border) and arrive in Eilat, Israel’s southernmost town on the Red Sea. Overnight at the hotel in Eilat.
Day 8
Eilat- Masada - Ein Gedi - Qumran - Jerusalem
Drive early to Masada (the last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans), the oasis of Ein Gedi, (where David hid in a from Saul) and the Dead Sea. (Optional, time permitting: Qumran -site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls). Overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 9
Jerusalem
Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mt Olives. Walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane where you will see 2,000 year old olive trees. Then to the Western Wall the Western Wall Tunnels running along the base of the Western Wall leading us through the Second Temple era and revealing the amazing construction of the Temple Mount, water supply and Roman street. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda. Walk along Via Dolorosa and retrace the final hours of His life as you pass the Stations of the Cross then have quiet time at the Garden Tomb. Overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 10
Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Garden Tomb
Drive to Mt. Zion, visit the Room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb and the Church of the Dormition. Drive through the New City pass the Israel Parliament (Keneset) stop at the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and continue to Ein Karem, the Birthplace of John the Baptist, visit Church St. John the Baptist. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. Visit the Shepherd’s Field, where an angel appeared to announce the birth of Jesus. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 11
Jerusalem – Free day
Spend the day on your own in Jerusalem.
Day 12
Jaffa – Departure
Transfer from Jerusalem to Jaffa. Free time until the transfer to the airport, for exploring the ancient port city of Jaffa. Transfer to the airport for departure.
