7th Day Adventist church holy land  tours 12 days  including Jordan and Mt. Sinai - designed especially for travel agents intending to organize group tours to the Holy land.

Day 1.

Tel Aviv

Meet at the airport by Noah Tour represantatives and guides and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure for rest.Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tel Aviv.

 Day 2. Tel Aviv- Haifa- Nazareth- Cana- Tiberias 

Travel up the coastline to the ancient Roman City of Caesarea, which was the center of early Christians, and capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of this ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct and also the harbor from which Paul was imprisoned and taken to Rome. Continue to the third largest city in Israel, Haifa. Climb Mt Carmel, the place where Elijah challenged the false prophets. Visit the Carmelite Monastery “Stella Maris" with the Elijah’s Grotto. Enjoy the breathtaking view from atop Mt. Carmel and the wonderful terrace gardens of Bahai. Proceed to Nazareth, one of the holiest towns in Christendom and see Mary’s Well, where the Angel Gabriel told Mary she will give birth to Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Church of Annunciation. Continue to Cana, known as the site of Jesus' first miracle turning water into wine at a wedding; visit the Franciscan Wedding Church. The next stop is Mt Tabor, believed to be the place of Transfiguration. Visit the Church of Transfiguration and enjoy the magnificent view of Jezreel valley and the hills around it. Arrive in Tiberias, a wonderful city on the shores of Galilee Sea that offers a mix of nature, history and contemporary attractions.

Day 3.  Tiberias- Tabgha- Capernaum- Tiberias

Visit the old city of Tiberias and the promenade then departure in a tour that will explore early Jesus Ministry around the Sea of Galilee. "Visit the “Jesus boat” uncovered in 1986 from the mud on the seashore by a group of young boys and dated back to the first century AD. Arrive to Tabgha, the traditional site of the miracle of feeding of the five thousand. Visit the Church of the Multiplication of Fishes and Loaves and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Continue with a visit to the Mount of Beatitudes where the Lord preached the Sermon on the Mount. Arrive in Capernaum, headquarters of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee; explore the ruins of the old synagogue and visit to the modern Franciscan church built with a glass floor over the ruins of the traditional House of Peter. Enjoy a sail on the peaceful waters across the Sea of Galilee. There will be an opportunity to taste St. Peter’s fish for lunch (optional). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tiberias.

Day 4.  Tiberias- Tabgha- Capernaum- Tiberias

Leaving behind the Sea of Galilee, stop at Yardenit, the site believed to be the place where Jesus was baptized on the river Jordan. Many Christian pilgrims stop at this site and perform baptism ceremonies. Continue south to the ancient city of Beth Shean, view the archeological site. It was here that after defeating Saul and his sons on Mount Gilboa, the Philistines hanged their bodies on the walls of Beth Shean. Continue south through the Jordan Valley past the city of Jericho, one of the oldest known inhabited cities in the world, and cross the border to Jordan. Visit the biblical Mt. Nebo from which Moses viewed the Promise Land. Mt. Nebo, believed to be the site of the tomb of Moses, commands a spectacular view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continue to the city Madaba, best known for its Byzantine mosaics and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. View the earliest original map of the Holy Land represented in a floor mosaic. Arrive to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, where you will have the chance to enjoy optional spa treatments and a massage, float on the salty water of the Dead Sea or a dip at the hotel pool. Dinner and overnight in a resort at the Dead Sea.

Day 5.  Tiberias – Yardenit – Beth Shean – Qumran – Mt Nebo – Masaba – Dead Sea

Day 6.  Dead Sea – Petra 

Departure to the Nabatean Treasure City of Petra. One day to explore one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites – the 2,000-year old city of Petra, known as the red rock city. It was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AC. Carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock, Petra was forgotten for hundreds of years until it was rediscovered in 1812.  At the entrance to Petra travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m - from the visitors centre to the entrance of the dramatic “Siq” (canyon) which is about 1.2 km long (walking distance). Visit the Petra’s incredible structures: the treasury, the field of tombs, the obelisks and the altar, and much more.

Day 7. Petra- Aqaba (2h)- Mt Sinai 

Departure towards the Red Sea, to the port city of Aqaba, an ancient city nowadays a modern seaside resort. Embark on a ferry towards Nuweiba in Egypt, crossing the Red Sea. Continue the trip to the Mt Sinai area.

 Day 8.Mt Sinai- St Caterine- Eilat

Very early this morning climb Mount Sinai and see where the Moses received the Ten Commandments. Enjoy a time of praise and incredible views of the Sinai wilderness in the sunrise. Descending the mountain, continue with a visit to the famous art-filled Byzantine Monastery of St Catherine, built in the sixth century on the spot where it’s believed God appeared to Moses in the Form of a burning bush. The Greek Orthodox Church building is the oldest continuously used church building in the world. Leaving Mt. Sinai area departure toward the eastern shores of Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea north to Taba Border( Egypt Israel crossing border) and arrive in Eilat, Israel’s  southernmost town on the Red Sea. City tour with a visit to the underwater observatory, one of the largest sea aquariums in the world, built into a coral reef.

 Day 9. Eilat- Masada- Ein Gedi- Qumran- Jerusalem 

Drive to Timna Valley to see the copper mines and King Solomon's pillars and marvel at the huge multicolored rock formations. Continue drive north and stop to visit Masada famous for being the last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Ascend to Masada by cable car and discover the first century Synagogue, Herod’s Bathhouse and other sites. The next stop is the oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid in a cave when running from Saul. Stop in Qumran, site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Arrive in Jerusalem, one of the holiest cities in the world, where every stone tells a wondrous story.

Day 10. Jerusalem

 Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mt Olives. Visit the church of Pater Noster and the Chapel of Ascension. Walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane where you will see 2,000 year old olive trees. Then to the Western Wall- The holiest site in Judaism and one of the original walls that retained the Temple. Visit the Western Wall Tunnels running along the base of the Western Wall leading us through the Second Temple era and revealing the amazing construction of the Temple Mount, water supply and Roman street. Continue to St Anne Church and the Pool of Bethesda.
Walk along Via Dolorosa and retrace the final hours of His life as you pass the Stations of the Cross, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of Our Lord’s death and resurrection In the afternoon you will enjoy time to shop the colorful bazaars. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 11. Jerusalem – Bethlehem – Jerusalem

Drive to Mt. Zion, visit the Room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb and the Church of the Dormition. Drive through the New City pass the Israel Parliament (Keneset ) stop at the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and continue to Ein Karem, the Birthplace of John the Baptist, visit Church St. John the Baptist. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. Visit the Shepherd’s Field, where an angel appeared to announce the birth of Jesus. In the afternoon visit the Garden Tomb, to celebrate the resurrection with a time for prayer. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 12. Jerusalem – Tel Aviv – Jaffa – New York

Transfer from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. City Tour of Tel Aviv, the commercial center of Israel. Free time until the transfer to the airport, for exploring the ancient port city of Jaffa.
