Day 5 Thursday Jerusalem (Old City)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then meet your guide in the lobby for today's tour. The first site is the Mt of Olives, a cemetery that once was covered in olive groves. From there you will have a breathtaking view of the Old City. Go down into the Old City via one of the gates built by Suleiman. Continue down to the Western Wall and spend some time in reflection and/or prayer. Walk where Jesus walked and make your way down Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross). You will end your tour at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 Saturday Masada - Dead Sea - Tel Aviv - Eilat

Take your towel and bathing suit today, but begin with a hat, sunscreen and water for your tour of Masada. Go up to the fortress by cable car. The history of the famous Jewish fortification will unfold before your eyes; the palaces built by Herod, the synagogue and bathhouses used by the Jews and the place where the zealots died. Descend Masada by cable car and drive to the Dead Sea for relaxation and a dip in the water. Transfer to Sde Dov Airport for flight to Eilat

Day 8 Sunday Eilat - Petra - Amman - Cairo

After Breakfast leave Eilat-Israel, cross the Arava border and drive to Petra, through the scenic Jordanian desert, past the Wadi Rum area, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought with the Bedouin. Enter the Red City of Petra through the Siq by foot. This is a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired people for centuries. The impressive treasury wonder appears suddenly at the end of the gorge, leaving the visitors breath-taken by it's size, color and beauty. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular amphitheatre. Stop for a traditional lunch, followed by transfer to Amman. Fligh to Cairo (not included), transfer to hotel in Cairo for overnight.

The Great Pyramids of Cheops or Khufu; of Khafre or Chephren; and of Menkaure have always loomed large as emblems of ancient Egypt and were listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
