The Tower of David Museum

The Tower of David was built to strengthen a strategically weak point in the Old City's defenses. The citadel was constructed during the second century BCE and repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt by many civilizations. This is what makes it so intriguing, from Canaanites and Israelites all the way down to the Ottomans, all building throughout each other's works, is extensive remains left behind them. Today, the tower has become a popular scene for benefit events, craft shows, concerts, and various performances. There is also a Tower of David Museum.

The Tower of David museum represents more than 3000 years of history of Jerusalem, using advanced museum technology and displays the history in a chronological manner.
